There's a project whose concept is somewhat similar to EOMA-68, but they
are using Intel bay trail CPUs for now.

The campaign perks may be delivered too late in the future to be
successful, but it's yet another project with modular CPU boards.

looks near-identical, the only difference being that they're
designing even the case-work of the modules as well as the connectors,
housings and assemblies from scratch. this would explain why their
funding target is $300,000.
